EPL giant, Manchester United have been boosted with the news that playmaker Bruno Fernandes will be able to play for the club this weekend.

The Red Devils travel to Tyneside to face Newcastle United in the late Premier League game on Saturday and Bruno Fernandes is now expected to take his place in their starting XI according to the report via The Telegraph.

He was in danger of not playing due to the prevalent Covid-19 guidelines after Portuguese teammate Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive to the virus thereby potentially exposing the other national team members to it.

Bruno Fernandes earns around £100,000 on a weekly basis at Manchester United and he has scored two goals and two assists over his four games in the colours of the Red Devils in all competitions.

Several players have contacted the virus in the past weeks and they have been forced to stay indoors for the duration of two weeks. In some cases, players in close contact with those affected were also forced to stay indoors.

Bruno Fernandes is expected to face the Magpies on Saturday night as long as he does not test positive to the virus before the crucial game against Newcastle United.

Manchester United and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer need a win badly after their poor start to the new season.
