English Premier League club Arsenal will face a major challenge to keep Dani Ceballos at the Emirates Stadium for a permanent deal.

The Spanish international has been with the North London outfit for the past 12 months on loan and with the contract set to run out at the end of the season, manager Mikel Arteta seeks to work with him on a permanent basis, having fallen in love with the player’s quality.

Before now, Dani Ceballos barely get a role in the team because of his injuries but he seems to be forming a major part of the team, especially now that German international Mesut Ozil has not been in the team since the restart of the EPL.

However, Arsenal will face a major challenge from Spanish La Liga club Real Betis as they are reported to be in contact with Ceballos for a return to the club, knowing that he started his football career with the outfit.

It is unlikely that Real Madrid will be in need of Dani Ceballos anymore, reasons why he is readily available but will be making a choice for the club with the brightest prospect and opportunity to play regularly.

There is no doubt that both Arsenal and Real Betis are willing to hand the player the opportunity of a regular football but the choice will be left for Dani to make.
