Premier League giants Manchester United will reportedly face stiff competition from Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

According to Calciomercato, Inter Milan also want to sign the Serbian international player but they won’t make a move for him until next month.

Manchester United have been seriously linked with a move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the last few days and they could still face Inter Milan battle for his signature between now and the end of the transfer window.

According to the aforementioned publication, Inter Milan have to sell the fringe players before they can make a move for the Serbian player.

Inter Milan have already spent €80m on the Italian duo of Nicolo Barella and Roberto Sensi this summer and will have to raise funds for Milinkovic-Savic who will cost at least €100m.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is not ready to lower the €100m asking price for the player.

Inter Milan have already listed players like Joao Mario, Radja Nainggolan and Borja Valero on the transfer market as they try to raise funds for more signings.

Apart from Milinkovic-Savic, Inter Milan have to also raise funds to sign their number one target Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United.
