Premier League heavyweights Manchester United are reportedly ready to tighten the grip to sign highly rated FC Porto left-back Alex Telles in this transfer window.

Spanish defender Reguilon has signed for Tottenham Hotspur from Real Madrid after the North London side met the conditions set by the former European champions.

Mohamed Bouhafsi of French outlet RMC Sport had previously said that Alex Telles has agreed to terms with Manchester United.
For Portuguese news portal O Jogo, Manchester United might need to pay over £20m for their target and that his club is expecting the bid from the Red Devils.
Manchester United started the new Premier League campaign on a bad note following the stunning loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The Red Devils were beaten 3-1 in their first game of the season, while FC Porto and Alex Telles were victorious against Sporting Braga by the same scoreline.
Alex Telles scored two penalties and also provided an assist during the game.
