Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil was delighted with the outcome of the Premier League opener as he took to his official Twitter handle to express himself on the back of the win over Newcastle United.
North London giants Arsenal started their new Premier League campaign on a winning note following the 1-0 victory over the Magpies.
Ozil was one of the earliest Arsenal players to express their delight on social media over the first important three points of the new Premier League season at the first time of asking.
The German playmaker missed the game at St. James Park because of security concerns.
He missed the game alongside pal Sead Kolasinac.

Ozil and Kolasinac were attacked some weeks back by knife-wielding criminals before the latter fought them off.
The two players have been targeted by criminals at various times after the first attack thereby prompting the Metropolitan Police to open further investigation into the situation.
After the Newcastle United game, Arsenal manager Unai Emery was asked about the two players and he said he’s not certain when the players will return to training.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the matchwinner for the Gunners during the game against the Magpies.
He scored the only goal of the game in the second half.
