Manchester United have reportedly been boosted by the signing of Welsh winger Daniel James from Swansea City this summer.

According to the publication from The Sun, ticket sales have been boosted from £25k to £45k ahead of the friendly between Manchester United and Italian Serie A giants AC Milan In Cardiff City on August 3.

The match will take place in his native Wales and ticket sales for the game has soared since Manchester United announced the signing of Daniel James earlier this month.

The 21-year-old signed for the Red Devils in a deal said to be around £18m after a good season with Welsh club Swansea City in the last campaign.

Daniel James is expected to be the first of many signings at Old Trafford this summer with Manchester United in serious of major overhaul after a poor season which saw them finish the league campaign in a disappointing sixth position.

Manchester United will feature in the Europa League as a result after missing out on the first four places that would have guaranteed Champions League football for the new season.

The Red Devils are working on deals to bring the duo of Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford this summer.
