Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has continued to insist on the signature of West Ham United Declan Rice and Daily Star reports that he is now making moves to submit another offer in the coming winter transfer window in January.
West Ham United are also not interested in releasing the England international midfielder as they are reportedly set to hand him a new and improved deal so as to snub interests from the Blues team.
A close West Ham source has claimed that Frank Lampard is the only reason why the Blues team are desperate to land Declan Rice as he hinted that the interest from the Stamford Bridge might end if the Chelsea legend is sacked from the job.
The decision is, of course, left to the player to make but a fight is needed by the Blues team to be able to tempt West Ham United to agree on a deal.

In my opinion, Frank Lampard is already making the same mistake as Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by insisting on the signature of Declan Rice as he might be distracted during the transfer window.
It would be recalled that Man United’ slow activities in the summer transfer window as highly linked to the fact that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted on having England international winger Jadon Sancho from Borrusia Dortmund in his team and he spent most of the time negotiating his deal until the club ran out of time for other deals.
Eventually, Man United were unable to secure the signature of the German Bundesliga star. It is only hoped that the same fate will not befall Frank Lampard in his chase of Declan Rice.
The fact that Declan Rice has not pushed for a transfer away from the London club speaks volumes that he is also not keen on a move and a new deal could convince him to stay longer with West Ham.
