One of the reasons why Man United have been slow in the summer transfer window, failing to get most of their target is as a result of their lack of finance and that could be sorted out with the sale of some players.

The Red Devils are unable to pay for the signature of England international Jadon Sancho while are still struggling to meet the £18 million fee for FC Porto defender Alex Telles.

It is now reported that manage Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sell Daniel James to be able to cash in to sanction other sales.

ESPN reports that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to cash in the sum of £25 million from the sale of Daniel James and add to funds raised from other sales to be able to convince the club’s chiefs.

It is understood that the Red Devils boss is still positive that England international winger Jadon Sancho will be leaving German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund for the Old Trafford this season.

The Red Devils are still hoping to raise at least £18 million from the sale of Chris Smalling to Italian Serie A outfit S Roma while the door is still opened for other players to leave before the summer window is shut.
