The Red Devils can boast of Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes, and Paul Pogba in their midfield and now have a need for a strong defensive midfielder that will help the flair players moving forward, this is the reason why they are being linked with the signature of Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.

N’Golo Kante is already out of favour at Chelsea and has been linked with a move away and Man United are reported to be considering the option.

A report claims the former Leicester City defensive midfielder would have considered a move to the Old Trafford for two reasons but there seems not to be a concrete offer from the Red Devils.

It is reported that a move to Man United would have been possible and easy for the World Cup winner because of his desire to remain in the Premier League.

The second reason for why he would have loved a move to United is the fact that he will be happy to link up with his friend Paul Pogba, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

However, it is unlikely that N’Golo Kante will be leaving the Stamford Bridge as Man United did not make any formal move to snap up his signature while manager Frank Lampard is still interested in having him around.
