Newcastle are reportedly making attempts to snap p the signature of Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah before the end of the summer transfer window.
Eddie Nketiah spent last season on loan with Leeds United and it was expected that he will remain with the Mikel Arteta team but that is not happening with the North London club already considering sending him out on loan.
The Telegraph reports that Newcastle are keen to take the opportunity of having Eddie Nketiah on loan as they plan to strengthen their attack but they must be willing o assure Arsenal of regular playing time for the 21-year-old.

There is no doubt about Eddie Nketiah’s future with Arsenal but at the moment, he cannot be favoured for selection as a result of the options in the team.
However, Newcastle are favoured as the best destination for Eddie Nketiah as he would be playing in the Premier League to get the exposure and experience that is needed for his development.
Therefore, Eddie Nketiah will join a number of players that will be leaving the Mikel Arteta team this summer window. While some are expected to leave permanently, others will go out on loan to earn regular playing time.
