The Senegalese attacker played his best game against Liverpool last season as he scored two goals in the 3-0 win at home to the English champions.
The defeat ended the 44-game unbeaten run in the Premier League for Liverpool as well as a sequence of 18 league wins.
Liverpool fans have not been impressed with their transfer activities this summer as they try to retain their league title. The Reds have been able to lure just one player to the club and that’s Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara apart from Ismaila Sarr.
Thiago Alcantara has one year left at Bayern Munich and the Bavarian gaints have slammed a €30m transfer fee on him.
