Manchester United have signed a major player for the first time this summer on the back of the official confirmation of Donny Van De Beek as a Red Devil.
The 23-year-old has signed for Manchester United from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam and he has immediately warmed into the heart of football fans with his choice of jersey number at Old Trafford.
Donny Van De Beek was synonymous with the jersey number 6 at Ajax but that number has Paul Pogba written all over it at Manchester United thus prompting him to pick a new shirt number.

The new Manchester United signing has decided to go for the number 34 jersey in honour his friend Abdelhak Nouri.
Abdelhak Nouri is still recovering from the brain damage he suffered at Ajax in 2017.
The player suffered the damage when he collapsed while playing in his jersey number 34 for Ajax Amsterdam during a preseason friendly.
Donny Van De Beek has been a key player for Ajax in the past two to three seasons and Manchester United fans would be hoping that he can replicate that form in the Premier League.
He was part of the double winning Ajax team from the 2018/19 season. Ajax were Champions League semi-finalists in the same season.
