Arsenal are reportedly waiting to hear from Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes as he is certain to leave French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille this summer window.
The Gunners are in the chase of the 22-year-old alongside Italian Serie A outfit Napoli with claims that the Naples team have already had a moral agreement to secure his signing and have been given two weeks to meet his valuation.

Arsenal have been able to speak with the camp of the player and are ready to offer £27 million, four more than Napoli to be able to win the race but have been forced by the player’s agent to wait until after the ultimatum given to Napoli to expire before they can make any further moves because of the “moral agreement” already in place.
This might force Arsenal out of the race as Napoli are being given the first right, leaving the Gunners in a waiting period that could discourage them.
However, Gabriel Magalhaes and his family have been on the social media teasing Arsenal fans with a number of activities. The latest was done by the player’s father when he liked a post saying his son will be an Arsenal player in the coming season.
