Emerging reports reveal that the English Premier League club, Man United are still in the race for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer transfer window with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer whose a big fan of the player.
The Red Devils have only been carried away by their pursuit on England international winger Jadon Sancho as the media has been congested with reports of his expected move to the Old Trafford and negotiation with his owners, Borussia Dortmund.
- This Liverpool summer transfer target almost a done deal
- United, Rangers in battle for prolific striker
- Man United begin negotiation for exiting defender
The Evening Standard reports that Man United are still very interested in the services of the Napoli defender but will have to complete the deal for the former Man City youth player before paying attention to Kalidou Koulibaly.
It would be recalled that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis already stated that the club is yet to receive any offer for Kalidou Koulibaly and made it clear that they will not listen to offers that do not match his £90 million valuation.
This development might be the only hindrance to the Red Devils’ long-term dream of having Kalidou Koulibaly at the club as they would be spending heavily to bring in Jadon Sancho which makes £90 million too much a fee for a single player this transfer window.
