The future of North London outfit, Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira at the Emirates Stadium now looks very bleak as the player has opened up on the uncertainty while he waits to see what happens in the coming days.

Manager Mikel Arteta now prefers to have Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos as a pair in his midfield which makes Lucas Torreira go down the pecking order in the team and that could continue ahead of the coming season.

The player has stated that he has an existing contract with the North London outfit and will definitely respect that but expects to take the best decision for his career.

Two Italian Serie A outfit, AC Milan and Torino are already in the battle for the Uruguayan as Italy remains his likely destination.

The Telegraph reports that AC Milan will have to battle Torino for the signature of Lucas Torreira while Fiorentina is also interested in the Arsenal midfielder.

No doubt that Lucas Torreira will not be lacking in options a destination for the coming season but it could be the case of the highest bidder as the North London outfit is keen to cash in to be able to do other summer deals.
