Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is attracting interest from Italian Serie A club, Torino and this is being initiated by his club manager Marco Giampaolo.
Marco Giampaolo worked with Lucas Torreira when he was in charge of Sampdoria and is keen to have a reunion with his former player.
The report claims that the Torino boss is confident of the move for Lucas Torreira after learning that the future of the Uruguay international is up in the air at the Emirates Stadium.

Lucas Torreira played 71 games under his former manager and was very impressive before joining the Gunners in 2018. He has not enjoyed a consistent first-eleven appearance and that has sparked speculations about his future at the club.
With the North London outfit reported to be keen on bringing in Ghana international midfielder, Thomas Partey to the Emirates Stadium, the chances of Lucas Torreira for regular playing time would be reduced.
However, Torino’s boss is hoping to give Lucas Torreira an escape route that will have him enjoy regular football with the Italian outfit and also help stabilize the team as they only finished above the relegation spot in the season that was just concluded.
It is now left to the Gunners to decide if they will be willing to part ways with the player or not.
