Italian Serie A club Torino have concluded plans to block the sale of star defender Armando Izzo during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from popular Italian transfer news outlet Calciomercato which claimed that Torino want to retain the services of Armando Izzo who has spent just one season at the club.
Armando Izzo has been attracting the interest of clubs like fellow Italian Serie A side Lazio as well as the Premier League duo of Everton and Arsenal.
The 27-year-old signed for Torino last summer from fellow Italian Serie A club Genoa.
He penned a five-year deal last summer until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Armando Izzo still has four years left on his contract with Torino.
Arsenal have made the signing of a new centre back top priority this summer and Izzo is one of the players on their transfer list.
