Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this month according to the publication from the stables of The Guardian.
His imminent exit was confirmed by his agent Fulvio Marrucco who said that the former Chelsea striker wants to take the next step in management.
Italian tactician Zola enjoyed a wonderful playing career at Chelsea and he attained legendary status as a result.

Sarri has left Chelsea to take up the managerial post at Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
It was also confirmed that Gianfranco Zola rejected an ambassadorial role with Chelsea who will welcome a new managerial dispensation when Derby County manager Frank Lampard is named the replacement for the aforementioned Sarri.
Former Chelsea midfielder Lampard has already agreed a three-year deal with his former club and Derby County have given him the permission to speak with Chelsea.
