Man United struggled with good results this season, the reason why they had to wait until the last day of the season to determine their Champions League status. It is feared that the same could repeat itself in the coming season.

This is according to the club legend Gary Neville who is of the opinion that the current squad cannot help the club with their target of titles and wins in the coming season.

He also noted that the Red Devils target of titles, especially the English Premier League title will not happen with few and ordinary buys in the summer transfer market.

The Red Devils legend stressed that his former club will have to storm the market with about £170 million to be able to secure quality players that will help them challenge the likes of Liverpool and Man City in the coming campaign.

This, therefore, makes commentators express fears that the club might not reach it’ submit because £170 million might not be available to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite securing qualification to the Champions League.

Already, a £100 million is being requested for England international Jadon Sancho. Should the Red Devils hand such funds to Borussia Dortmund, the remaining would not be enough to equip the defence as wished by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
