English Premier League duo, Man United and Liverpool are reported to have made Italian Serie A outfit Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly a major transfer target ahead of the summer transfer window.

Both teams seek to reinforce their defence and have identified Kalidou Koulibaly as the best fit for the challenge in the English Premier League.

However, both teams are yet to submit offers for the defender, according to Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli despite the increasing speculations.

Cristiano Giuntoli made this known when he spoke to DaZN and asked if offers have already on the table for the defender.

According to him, Kalidou Koulibaly had important and concrete offers in the past and they were all rejected, but at the moment, no club have submitted any for this summer transfer window.

He stressed that they are not in a haste to make any decision concerning the future of the defender but will wait for the right moment and right situation.

Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly has been cited to have claimed he is not interested in a move away from the Serie A outfit, adding that he still has his heart with Napoli and will prefer to remain in Naples.

Liverpool, Man United and Man City are all speculated to be interested in Kalidou Koulibaly.
