English Premier League outfit Man United are not willing to leave anything to chance in their bid to strengthen the team for next season’s challenge.

Man United cannot boast of their performance in the just concluded season as they failed to win a title and also missed out of the Champions League.

The defence has been a major Challenge for the Red Devils and that has been pointed out by former manager Jose Mourinho before his exit from the club.

This has made the Red Devils turn their attention to Italian Serie A outfit Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and they have insisted on landing him in the summer transfer window.

It has therefore been reported that the Red Devils have submitted a 84 million Euros offer to Napoli for the deal.

This remains a world record bid and it is yet to be seen if the Italian Serie A outfit will turn it down.

Man United also have their attention on Ajax central defender Matthijs de Ligt but they are aware of the big competition on the ground for the young star.

However, the Red Devils will expect a reply from Napoli in coming days to know their fate in the capture of the central defender.
