Underpressure Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has requested six more signings at the club for him to be able to turn things around after a bad start to the New Year.
Solskjaer and Manchester United ended 2019 well with victories over Newcastle United and Burnley in the Premier League but have not recovered since 2020 started with a big defeat at the home of Arsenal in the league.
The pressure on Solskjaer ramped up in the last one week after the defeats to Liverpool and Burnley in the league.
Manchester United were beaten 2-0 at Liverpool, whom they share a long-running tradition with, last weekend while Burnley also got the same scoreline at Old Trafford in midweek.

Solskjaer has to redeem himself as Manchester United take on hosts and League One club Tranmere Rovers in the fourth round of the FA Cup later this weekend.
According to The Times, Solskjaer wants the club to back him with new players for him to take the Old Trafford outfit back to the top where it belongs.
He wants a new full-back, two central midfielders, a creative midfielder known as the no. 10, a winger and a striker.
His immediate focus is to get Manchester United to the fifth round in the FA Cup.
