Manchester United are on the verge of making their first signing of this winter transfer window with the capture of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese international is in line for a transfer to Manchester United according to various media reports in Portugal and in the United Kingdom.
The player has already informed Sporting Lisbon officials about his desire to sign for Manchester United in this window and the presence of club president Federico Varandas in the United Kingdom at the weekend has further fuelled the notion that it’s only a matter of time before Bruno Fernandes signs for the Red Devils.

Manchester United need a creative midfielder like Bruno Fernandes and the Portuguese international is expected to assume the no 10 role at Old Trafford if he eventually completes the much awaited transfer to the Theatre of Dreams.
Bruno Fernandes has scored and provided a lot of goals for Sporting Lisbon since the start of last season when he scored 32 goals and also weighed in with 18 assists for his Portuguese club.
He was involved in 50 goals in all competitions last season.
For this season, he has scored eight goals and added seven assists in 15 games.
