North London club Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs want to sign Bruno Fernandes before the end of the Premier League transfer window.
The Premier League transfer window ends next week Thursday.
Manchester United are also interested in Bruno Fernandes but the Portuguese international star is not a top priority for the Red Devils.
Spurs sent representatives to Portugal for talks with Sporting Lisbon and it remains to be seen whether they would be able to sign him with just one week left before the end of the transfer window.

Bruno Fernandes has a release clause of €100m in his Sporting Lisbon contract but the Portuguese Super League giants would sanction his sale for a lesser transfer fee.
The Portuguese international is back at Sporting Lisbon after a successful summer with the European champions.
Bruno Fernandes was an important player for European champions Portugal as they beat the Netherlands 1-0 in the final clash at the UEFA Nations League.
The 24-year-old scored 32 goals and 18 assists in 53 games in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon during the last campaign which ended with the Portuguese Cup title via the penalty shootout win over FC Porto.
