Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante should be back in the squad as soon as possible according to manager Frank Lampard who thinks the knock that forced him to miss the last league game is not too serious.
Frenchman Kante was conspicuously absent from the Chelsea team that returned to winning ways at Stamford Bridge with the 3-0 win over struggling Burnley on Saturday evening.
Jorginho opened the floodgate of goals from the penalty spot after Burnley defender Matt Lowton was adjudged to have fouled Willian in the box before Tammy Abraham pounced on the mistake from Clarets shot stopper Nick Pope to double the lead for Chelsea who took a 2-0 advantage into the halftime interval.

After the game, Frank Lampard explained how Kante got the injury as he confirmed that the player trained on Friday before his hamstring flared up at night before the decision to leave him out of the Burnley game was reached.
Kante is expected to be back for the next game, a Premier League trip to Newcastle United.
