Manchester United could turn their attention to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Reds have the signing of a creative midfielder as one of the items on their to-do transfer list but Christian Eriksen is not their first choice.
Leicester City playmaker James Maddison is the first choice creative midfielder target for Manchester United but they are unlikely to sign him in the January transfer window despite the fact that they are ready to secure his signing for a big fee.

James Maddison could break the transfer record at Manchester United if the England national team midfielder decides to leave Leicester City for Old Trafford this year either in the current winter transfer market or this summer’s transfer window.
The former Norwich City player has scored nine goals and made three assists in 21 games for Leicester City this term.
Manchester United could switch attention to Danish international Christian Eriksen who would be a relatively easy signing.
Eriksen has six months left on his Spurs contract and the Danish player can sign for any club this summer for around £20m.
He has interest from Italian club Inter Milan and manager Antonio Conte who has led the team to the top of the table.
