The transfer plans for Chelsea has changed ahead of the upcoming winter transfer market next month according to Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier.

The former Southampton attacker talked about Chelsea and their transfer plans for next month while he was on Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports.

According to him, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has changed his stance on signing players in January.

Frank Lampard had earlier stated that he won’t make any knee-jerk move to sign players in the January transfer but their recent form in the Premier League would have prompted a change of plans from the Blues manager according to the Southampton legend.

He said that Frank Lampard would be keen to strengthen his squad next month as his Chelsea side tries to hang on to fourth spot on the Premier League table.

Chelsea have a two-point advantage over Wolves in fifth spot ahead of their respective games on Sunday with the two teams facing tough games.

Frank Lampard and Chelsea will be guests of Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, while Wolves will take on the tough task of stopping Liverpool and their perfect record at home.

Liverpool have won all of their home games in the Premier League till date.
