Premier League giants Arsenal are said to be in negotiations with Lyon midfielder Lucas Tousart ahead of the January transfer window.
This is according to the latest reports coming out of the media in France.
It was revealed that the Gunners are in talks to sign the Lyon player with new manager Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his squad adequately before the last half of this season.
According to popular French outlet RMC Sport, Arsenal are in negotiations to sign Lucas Tousart who is also attracting the interest of German Bundelsiga outfit Hertha Berlin.

It was revealed that Hertha Berlin have since rejected an offer of €20m for the Lyon player with the French Ligue 1 club adamant that it will take more money to tempt them to selling the midfielder.
Lyon star Lucas Tousart is not the only midfielder being chased by German capital club Hertha Berlin presently coached by a legend of football in Germany, Jurgen Klinsmann.
Hertha Berlin are also interested in an Arsenal player namely Granit Xhaka with recent reports claiming that they have agreed to pay €45m for the Swiss international who has had an eventful season at the club till date.
Xhaka was stripped as the Gunners skipper earlier in the season.
