Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in signing Paris Saint Germain (PSG) striker Edinson Cavani according to the latest reports emanating from the media in Spain.
According to journalist Josep Pedrerol of Spanish TV outlet El Chiringuito, Manchester United are one of the clubs to make an offer for Uruguayan international Edinson Cavani who earns around £300,000 on a weekly basis.
Edinson Cavani is entering the twilight of his career at the age of 32 and he could be the short-term replacement for Romelu Lukaku at Manchester United.
The Red Devils have not signed a replacement for Belgian international Lukaku since he left the Premier League club for Inter Milan in a deal reported to be around £73m.

Romelu Lukaku spent two years at Manchester United upon his £75m transfer from fellow Premier League side Everton in 2017.
The Red Devils let Lukaku join Inter Milan last summer and the striker has been in red-hot form for the Italians with 14 league goals.
Edinson Cavani is also interesting other clubs like Arsenal and Atletico Madrid who are his favorites as long as his high demands can be met.
The Uruguayan striker has scored five goals in just six starts for PSG this season.
