Manchester United are back in the race to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes after failing to sign him last summer.
The Red Devils are short in both numbers and quality in midfield and that has played a big role in their return for Bruno Fernandes who has become a key performer for both club and country in the last one year.
According to the Daily Star, Manchester United have to pay £60m to secure the signing of their top midfield target from Sporting Lisbon.
Bruno Fernandes was also a target for both Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur at the start of this season.

He was part of the Portugal squad that won the first edition of the UEFA Nations League.
The Portuguese international recently signed a new contract at Sporting Lisbon that took his release clause to €100m (around £80m).
Manchester United lack quality at the moment with the injuries to midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.
Both players are key midfielders for the Red Devils and they are not expected back in action until next month.
Paul Pogba has undergone surgery on a troublesome ankle injury and won’t be available until next month.
Scott McTominay has a knee injury sustained against Newcastle United at home last month.
