It was stated that Manchester United want to offer Jesse Lingard and £45m for James Maddison though it is not known whether Leicester City would do a deal with their Premier League counterparts for a key player in the England international.
James Maddison has become a key player for the Foxes since joining them from Norwich City almost two years ago.
Norwich City sanctioned his sale to Leicester City in a £24m deal in the summer of 2018.
Manchester United have lacked a creative spark in midfield throughout this season and that is an area where James Maddison has excelled over the last two seasons.
