New Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly eyeing a move for an Italian Serie A Midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.
This is according to the publication from The Times which revealed that the new Gunners boss is interested in a loan move for Adrien Rabiot who has not been able to secure a permanent slot in the Juventus starting XI since the start of this season.
Mikel Arteta wants to sign the French international midfielder on loan for the rest of the season to bolster his midfield options for the second half of the season.

Adrien Rabiot joined Juventus from French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on a free transfet this summer but he has been restricted to just five starts in the league by manager Maurizio Sarri who also joined the Old Lady in the summer just like the aforementioned French midfielder.
Juventus have a lot of midfielders and competition for places in midfield is very high.
It remains to be seen whether the Old Lady would be willing to let Adrien Rabiot join Arsenal despite the fact that he has not been a regular in the starting XI like fellow midfielders Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi.
