Arsenal fans were delighted with the performance of star player Mesut Ozil during the managerial debut of Mikel Arteta in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta took charge of his first match as the new Gunners boss at the home of Bournemouth as the two clubs shared the points via a 1-1 draw.
After the game, scores of Arsenal fans took to their various social media accounts to express their delight with Mesut Ozil who has not always been in the good books of previous managers like Unai Emery and Freddie Ljunberg who was furious with the German for reacting to his substitution during the last league game at home, 3-0 loss to Manchester City.

Mesut Ozil produced his best performance in an Arsenal for a very long time in the first game of Mikel Arteta’s managerial career and was rightly praised by the Gunners faithfuls.
He created four chances during the game which was more than any other player on the pitch.
Mesut Ozil was subbed off for young midfielder Joe Willock in the final quarter of the game as the Gunners were unable to turn the draw into a win.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the Gunners skipper and he scored in the second half to cancel out the first half strike from Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling.
