Manchester United are most likely to be busy in the January transfer window which reopens in the next few days with several incomings and outgoings expected during the month-long transfer period.

Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland and West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice have both being targeted by Manchester United, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to sell some players before any additions can be made according to the publication from popular media channel ESPN.

It was revealed that the center-back duo of Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones could leave the club in the January transfer window.

Marcos Rojo has previously been linked with a move to Merseyside giants Everton in the Premier League and the Argentine international could still leave Old Trafford in search of more first team opportunities.

England international Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo have both been on the outskirts of the Manchester United team this season and Solskjaer won’t really feel their absence if they were to leave Old Trafford.

Youngsters Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong could also leave Manchester United in the January transfer either on loan or permanently according to the aforementioned report with the two players gradually winding down their contracts at the club.

They both have six months left on their respective Manchester United contracts.
