West London giants Chelsea are the latest team to be linked with a January swoop for highly rated Leeds United defender Ben White.
This is according to The Sun which claimed that Chelsea want to sign the centre back next month in a £25m deal.
Ben White is on loan at Leeds United from Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.
His stock has risen at Leeds United having churned out several impressive performances for the former Champions League semifinalists.
The plan was for Ben White to return to Brighton after his loan spell at Leeds United but it seems like plans have changed amidst the numerous transfer interest in the English centre back.
Chelsea are the newest team to show interest in him thus joining the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign him.
Ben White has been able to help Leeds United to second position on the English Championship table this season though the run of seven straight league wins was stopped by a surpise collapse in the English Championship on Saturday.
Leeds United and Ben White lost a 3-0 lead in the last three minutes to play out a 3-3 draw at home to Welsh side Cardiff City.
Ben White is the second centre back target for Chelsea behind former player Nathan Ake of Bournemouth according to the aforementioned publication.
