Jose Mourinho Finally Convinced Of This Player Abilities, Set To Hold Serious Talks

Jose Mourinho is said to be closing in on his first signing as the Tottenham Hotspur manager having being appointed last month as a replacement for the sacked Mauricio Pochettino.
According to the report from 90min, Spurs are in talks to sign Brazilian midfielder Gerson ahead of the January transfer window.
Gerson plays his club football for Brazilian Serie A outfit Flamengo.
He has made 35 appearances for Flamengo since he returned to his native Brazil from a three-year spell at AS Roma.
Gerson has helped Flamengo to win the Copa Libertadores after they beat defending champions River Plate in their final clash mainly due to the brilliance of Brazilian international Gabigol.

He also helped Flamengo reach the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup final before the extra time loss to Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The Premier League giants won the competition thanks to a 1-0 extra time win made possible by the 99th-minute strike from another Brazilian Roberto Firmino.
Spurs are a changed team under Jose Mourinho and that has led to a run of positive results.
They have won five of the eight games under him including four of the six matches in the Premier League.
Ex-Man United/Chelsea boss Mourinho and Spurs are still six points adrift of the Champions League places.
