Senior Gunners officials were spotted at the front of Mikel Arteta’s mansion in the city of Manchester in the early hours of Monday and that has infuriated Manchester City officials who felt Arsenal should have informed them before talking to their assistant manager.
The meeting between Arsenal officials and Mikel Arteta happened on the back of the Premier League clash between the clubs involved.
Arsenal and Manchester City met at the Emirates Stadium with the Premier League title holders winning 3-0 in a one-sided game.
The game further exposed Arsenal and their poor administrative judgement as the search for a new manager continues at the expense of leaving the first team squad short-staffed as pointed out by interim manager Freddie Ljunberg.
