Carabao Cup: Liverpool Confirm Starling Lineup vs Aston Villa Revealed
Premier League leaders Liverpool are on course to name their youngest lineup ever when they face Aston Villa in one of the Carabao Cup quarterfinal ties.
The two Premier League teams do battle with each other at Villa Park on Tuesday night to determine who will go through to the semifinals.
Liverpool have opted to negotiate the quarterfinal fixture with youth team players due to fixture congestion arising from their involvement in the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is also with the first team players in Qatar meaning that u23 manager Neil Critchley will be in charge of the youthful team at Villa Park.

With this development, Aston Villa are favourites to qualify for the Carabao Cup semifinals ahead of a young Liverpool team.
The two clubs met in the Premier League earlier this season and it was Liverpool who secured a dramatic 2-1 win thanks to an added time winner from Sadio Mane.
The Reds came from behind to win the game after David Trezeguet had given the hosts a first half lead before Liverpool equalised through left-back Andy Robertson in the last five minutes of the game.
