North London giants Arsenal have been handed a big boost in their quest to make Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers the permanent manager at the Emirates Stadium.
This is due to the revelation that Brendan Rodgers dreams of the Arsenal job and he’s interested in replacing Unai Emery who was sacked last week after a poor run of form spanning seven games.
According to the report from the Daily Star, a source close to Brendan Rodgers said that the Northern Irishman dreams of a big job like the one at Arsenal.
His first and only job at a big Premier League team was at Liverpool where he came close to winning the Premier League title during the 2013/14 season.

Brendan Rodgers was sacked as the Liverpool manager in October 2015 and was swiftly replaced by current Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
He has been able to rebuild his reputation at Leicester City whom he has led to second place on the Premier League table behind former club Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City have won their last six games in the league including the 2-1 comeback win over Everton at the King Power Stadium yesterday.
Arsenal will have to pay a compensation of £14m to prise Brendan Rodgers from Leicester City and that might not be possible until next summer at least.
