English Premier League outfit Liverpool are believed to be returning to make a bid for French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon star Nabil Fekir to secure his signature this summer, going by reports in France.

Liverpool were close to sealing a deal with Nabil Fekir in the previous summer transfer window as an announcement was also close but the deal was called off for reasons that has not been confirmed.

French outlet Le Progres claims that manager Jurgen Klopp is ready to return for the signature of the star player so as to add depth to his midfield ahead of the coming season.

It is claimed that initial contact about a deal was made but the barrier to the deal is the refusal of the Merseyside outfit to meet the €50 million price tag.

However, Liverpool now stand a chance as the Ligue 1 outfit have reportedly told Nabil Fekir that he is free to leave the club this summer window

There are suggestions that a deal would be difficult to pull off for the Reds team as a result of the asking price that might be too high.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is keen to beat the competition from Man City for the EPL title this time around .
