Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could lose another player to Inter Milan before the end of this season as Conte reportedly picks interest in Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic.

The defensive midfielder currently finds game-time too hard to get due to Solskjaer’s massive trust in Scott McTominay who scored a beautiful goal against Arsenal on Monday.

Having featured in just four games so far, Matic is now tipped to leave Old Trafford in search of greener pasture in the next transfer window.

Conte, who worked with the Serb during his two-year spell at Stamford Bridge, will hope to explore his relationship with the player in order to lure him to the San Siro Stadium.

With the player’s contract set to expire at the end of this season, it is believed that the Red Devils could be forced to sell him in January to avoid losing him as a free agent by the end of the season.

It should be recalled that Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez dumped the Theatre of Dreams for the San Siro Stadium prior to the start of the season and both players are fast becoming fans favorites in Italy.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are equally credited with a desire to have the former Chelsea star in their midfield setup and they are set to battle their local rival for his services.
