Unai Emery lost his job at Arsenal after a poor start to the season with just four wins in 13 league games this term.
He leaves the Gunners in midtable after the first third of the new Premier League campaign.
With the poor form under Unai Emery, Arsenal will most likely not fulfill their objective of qualifying for Champions League football next season.
Arsenal are nine points adrift of the last Champions League place occupied by London rivals Chelsea at the moment though it must be pointed out that the Gunners have the opportunity to trim that advantage to just three points with a win over Norwich City later this weekend.
