Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will arguably be an unhappy man at the moment after seeing two of transfer plans suffer setbacks in less than 24 hours.
It all started when German Sport media outlet Sport Bild revealed that Borussia Monchengladbach won’t release midfielder Denis Zakaria in January despite the manager’s interest.
The midfielder, who is equally a January transfer target for Unai Emery, is now set to remain with the Bundesliga side beyond the upcoming transfer window.
To add more to Solskjaer’s woes, Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez has rejected the Red Devils offer for his services despite his lack of game-time under Zinedine Zidane so far this season.
