Chelsea Target Could Leave Napoli For Free, Agent Reveals
The agent of Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj has revealed that his client could leave the Italian Serie A club on a free transfer.
Mario Giuffredi made this known during an interview with Radio Punto Nuovo as he revealed that Napoli could have gotten €50m for his transfer last summer when Premier League giants Chelsea were on his trail.
Albanian international right-back Elseid Hysaj was expected to join Chelsea from Napoli last summer when Maurizio Sarri became the Blues boss but the move didn’t happen.
Elseid Hysaj has less than a year left on his Napoli contract at the moment meaning that the 25-year-old could leave the club for free if he’s not sold during the upcoming winter transfer window.

He has been restricted to just four Serie A appearances this season mainly due to fitness and injury problems.
Elseid Hysaj has made over 175 appearances for Napoli since joining them from fellow Italian club Empoli in 2016.
He worked with Maurizio Sarri at Empoli before the Italian tactician was appointed the Napoli manager in 2015.
Elseid Hysaj teamed up with Sarri at Napoli one year later and the same thing was expected at Chelsea when the Italian manager was named the Blues boss.
