According to reports in Naples, Premier League side Chelsea have summoned Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri to the City of London.
Chelsea want Sarri
The Chelsea hierarchy wants the former Napoli boss to replace their current manager Antonio Conte this summer transfer window.
The managerial appointment saga has dragged for too long, since May, when it became obvious that the former Italy head coach would be ousted in the summer.
The West London club are still working on an ideal deal to prize the Italian boss Sarri out of his existing contract with Napoli, while the club will have to pay Antonio Conte the mandatory £9million left on his existing contract.
But should negotiations go as planned today and over the next couple of days, then Maurizio Sarri could be announced as new boss on Monday.
That is as per Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport, who suggest Sarri has been invited to the City of London by club bosses.
As per reports, the tactician is expected in the Capital City today so as to organize every possible deal ahead of the unveiling ceremony on Monday.
Corriere dello Sport suggests the Maurizio Sarri will be in the Capital City by Saturday evening.
The 59-year-old is expected to sign a number of his ex-players if he joins the Premier League side this summer.
