Euro 2020 Qualifiers: Scott McTominay Ruled Out With Injury

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay will miss out on the Euro 2020 qualifiers for Scotland as a result of an injury.

The Manchester United midfielder has pulled out of the Scotland squad ahead of the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus and Kazakhstan.

Scott McTominay will miss those games as a result of the injury sustained during the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

The Scotland international was one of the best players for the Red Devils during the game which ended in a 3-1 win for his team.

He also got an assist for the second goal scored by the hosts during the game before the Scotland international suffered an injury during added time.

Andreas Pereira, Davy Propper (own goal) and Marcus Rashford got the goals for Manchester United, while Brighton skipper Lewis Dunk got the sole strike for the visitors.

Scott McTominay is expected to be fit for the next game with league newcomers Sheffield United.

The Scotland international midfielder will miss the Euro 2020 qualifiers with Cyprus and Kazakhstan alongside the likes of Liverpool defender Andy Robertson and Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.

Scotland are already out of the picture for Euro 2020 qualification.
