Four Liverpool Players To Miss Newcastle United Clash

Four Liverpool players will definitely miss out on the league game with Newcastle United on Saturday lunchtime.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp provided some injury news ahead of the game against the Magpies.

Klopp and his Liverpool players will host Newcastle United in the first game of week five matches of the new Premier League campaign.

Liverpool players Alisson Becker, Paul Glatzel, Nathaniel Clyne and Naby Keita will all miss the game.

On first choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Klopp said he does not know when he will return to training.

The Brazilian international suffered an injury on the first day of the new Premier League season, during the first half of the 4-1 home win over newly promoted side Norwich City.

His place in the Liverpool XI was taken by summer signing Adrian who joined the Reds on a two-year deal as a free agent.

Adrian is expected to continue to deputize for Alisson Becker for the Newcastle United game on Saturday afternoon.

On Naby Keita, Klopp said the midfielder is not ready to return to the team.

The Guinean international has had an injury-hit career at Liverpool till date since his big money transfer from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig last summer.
