Ex-Chelsea, Man Utd Boss On Course To Replace Unai Emery At Arsenal

Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is on course to becoming the new Arsenal manager according to the newest reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

Jose Mourinho is at the top of the list of managerial targets linked with the managerial job at Arsenal.

Current manager Unai Emery is under serious pressure after the second successive draw in the Premier League.

Arsenal got their second straight draw in the league following the 1-1 draw played with fellow Europa League campaigners Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners took the lead through Gabonese international star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has now scored eight goals in the league this season.

Arsenal were unable to preserve that first-half lead from the aforementioned Aubameyang as Wolves scored a second-half equalizer through Raul Jimenez to earn a share of the spoils.

The Times has now revealed that the job of Unai Emery is under serious threat at Arsenal and that club director Raul Sanllehi met with Jose Mourinho.

The report from The Times also said that Jose Mourinho impressed the Arsenal director and that the Portuguese tactician is interested in the job currently occupied by Unai Emery.
