Man Utd are reportedly leading the race for the services of Norwegian striker Erling Haaland ahead of 19 other clubs, that’s according to the Guardian on Friday.

The British media revealed that the Red Devils are in huge competition for the youngster as there are 20 clubs battling for his services, however, they have one thing working for them.

Haaland and United manager Solskjaer worked together for two seasons during their days with Norwegian side Molde, hence, Solskjaer is set to explore the existing relationship and ensures that he wins the contest.

The Guardian also said that Juventus are closely behind the Red Devils in the highly contested race for the player’s services.

The Scuddeto Champions haven’t been too awesome at the final third of the pitch, so, Sarri is eyeing the Norway international to support aging Cristiano Ronaldo.

Haaland has scored 23 goals in 20 appearance for RB Leipzig since he joined the Austrian side in January and he has been wonderful in this year’s Champions League matches.

Considering his exploits so far, RB Salzburg will need to decide whether to prevent him from leaving the team in January or they demand a huge price from his suitors.
