Manchester United desperately seek an inspirational striker at the final third of the pitch and they are being linked with a move for young and productive 23-year-old star Timo Werner who can’t stop scoring for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
The young attacker is currently in the race for this season’s Golden shoe award having scored 8 goals for his side in all competitions, and his goalscoring record has attracted Solskjaer’s attention.
The United manager has reportedly told his employers to move for his services in the next transfer window but British media, The Express, claimed that United won’t be able to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams in January.

It should be recalled that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was heavily linked with a move for the young man’s services in the previous season but the highly-rated tactician couldn’t convince his compatriot into joining the Anfield outfits.
Werner helped his team recorded a 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg on Saturday as his 54th-minute goal was enough to earn Leipzig a point from the encounter.
Understandably, the German club won’t want to lose such an important part of their team in the middle of the season but United will reportedly do everything to convince the young man before the start of 2020-21 season.
